Caution!
Close all running programs before you run the setup tool! The setup tool cannot replace any files that are used by other programs. In the worst case, the system may become unstable or even crash.General Information about Installation

There are two ways to install the Segment Checker software, depending on whether you have the CD or not. See below for details.Segment Checker operates with Microsoft Windows .NET 2.0 Framework
.NET Framework 2.0 Information
Previous versions of Segment Checker setup tool automatically installed the required .NET files. These files are not contained in versions since 1.16+ but are included on the CD, if needed. They may also be downloaded directly from the Microsoft website if the Segment Checker installation wizards ask you to obtain them.
Note!
Both versions (CD and download) need the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0. If the Segment Checker installation wizards requests the .NET Framework, close the Segment Checker installation program, and visit the Microsoft website to download the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or install it from your Segment Checker CD.Installing the CD Version
To install the software, proceed as follows:1. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Setup Wizard appears. (If the Wizard does not appear after 10 seconds, start Autorun.exe manually.)
2. Follow the instructions of the wizard.
Installing the Internet Version of the Software
To install the software, proceed as follows:1. Download the Segment Checker Software to your PC.
2. Using WinZip or other archiving software, extract the .ZIP archived files into to a temporary folder.
3. Close the Winzip or archiving program.
4. Launch the setup program (filename SETUP.EXE) from the temporary folder you just created. The Setup Wizard appears.
5. Follow the instructions of the wizard.
