Segment Checker is the complete tool for planning, validation and documentation of your FOUNDATION® fieldbus and PROFIBUS PA Fieldbus installations according to the international Fieldbus standard IEC 61158-2. Design your desired segment topology easily per Drag&Drop, the Segment Checker considers all relevant device data as well as all cable parameters.

The Segment Checker software shows your Fieldbus installation in the form of stylized topologies. Segment Checker calculates all relevant parameters e.g. necessary supply voltage, supply current, input voltages of the field devices as well as the output voltages at the spurs. The stylized topology can be exported as an image. For each designed segment, a separate report will be prepared. This documentation contains detailed informations about used field devices and all worked out results.
